In Parallel

Alongside the sculptural lighting of Coup-de-foudre, another path has gradually developed. In Parallel creates space for autonomous work in porcelain. The objects emerge from the same language, but with the freedom to speak it differently. Folds, seams and textures leave their traces in a material that is both strong and fragile, giving rise to sculptural objects in which material, form and imperfection develop a language of their own.

Light remains present. It finds its way through the porcelain and reveals what might otherwise remain hidden. Translucency, surface and imperfection become part of the work itself.

With In Parallel, Coup-de-foudre also moves within an autonomous artistic context. The works are presented in exhibitions, galleries and museums, where they exist as art objects in their own right.
